Kiss It Better: The Health Benefits of Kissing

I am always on the lookout for the next best anti-aging, feel good fix. Scientific research says that kissing is one of them.

Kissing is the ultimate aphrodisiac. It has the capacity to bridge conflicts and differences between people, to bring people closer, and make both the “kisser” and the “kissee” feel better.

In a recent American study, people who kissed for 15 minutes while listening to music experienced higher levels of oxytocin, the hormone that encourages you to bond. It also lowered levels of the stress hormone cortisol. We all know how badly stress affects your health and well-being. Big passionate kisses help you lose weight too! That’s because they increase your metabolic rate, therefore helping you burn calories. “Okay, I’m up for it!”

Another hidden benefit, kissing stimulates circulation to the lips, so it may even increase their volume better than a lip plumper!

Kissing has also been scientifically proven to increase adrenalin making your heart work faster and increasing blood flow. The results are lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, and better cardiovascular activity.

I strongly advise you to get out there and find that certain loved one, or “in lust one,” and start kissing!
